The State of Louisiana Contractors Licensing Board adopted July 1, 2004, Acts 2003, No.880, § 1 (§2185A), requiring all Mold Remediation Contractors to obtain a license from the State Contractors Licensing Board to perform mold remediation in the State of Louisiana.

CMR – Mold Remediation Training Provider
Interested in Mold Remediation? Do you need training to become a Licensed/Certified Mold Remediation Professional?

To become licensed, there are a few things you must have.

  1. Have completed and passed a course taught by a Mold Remediation Training Provider approved by The Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors.
  2. Minimum $50,000 General Liability & Workman’s Compensation
  3. $10,000 proof of net worth

Our CMR Mold Remediation Training  course consists of a minimum of 24 hours of Mold Remediation training. This class is usually taught over two days in a classroom environment with live instructors.
The cost of the class is $600.00 per person.

This is to officially notify you that your courses have been approved for the required training for the Mold Remediation License with this Board.

As shown in your syllabi, the course must be 24 hours or longer, and the additional 4 hour ethics course must be about the Louisiana Unfair Trade and Consumer Protection Act.
